Children are a blessing from the Lord!

This was written by CCFL board member Scott Tibbs. The pro-life movement needs a positive message, and we need to embrace God's promises and sing praises of His blessings. If we want to end abortion, this is the only way to do it. We have often focused on the evil of abortion, and how it murders a baby made in the image of God. We have educated the public about the brutality of abortion. Even many politicians who support "abortion rights" try to use weasel words by saying they want abortion to be "safe, legal and rare." (Somehow, all efforts to make abortion rare are rejected by the same people who say they want it to be rare.) But even as we seek to protect these little ones, we are not challenging the world's assumptions about children. It is these assumptions that fuel the abortion mills that blight our cities. The world tells us that children are a curse. The world tells us that children are a burden, both on our finances and on our time. The world t...

2018 Rally for Life

CCFL president Scott Tibbs speaks at the 2018 Rally for Life:

IU should stop trafficking baby parts

This is an open letter to Indiana University president Michael McRobbie from CCFL member Scott Tibbs. Mr. McRobbie, I saw that Indiana University has been successful in getting the courts to strike down parts of Indiana’s ban on trafficking aborted baby parts. I am not writing you to argue the decision or the law. I am writing you about right and wrong. Abortion is wrong. It is the extermination of an innocent human being made in the image of God. Scripture tells us that when the nation of Israel was burning their babies in sacrifice to the demon Molech, it was an act of such great evil that it never even entered into the mind of God that they would do this. In our nation, we murder over a million babies every year, a bloodshed that is far worse than the child sacrifice of ancient Israel and her pagan neighbors. Then we use the corpses of these murder victims for “scientific research.” Worse yet, the bloodshed is growing in Indiana University’s back yard. T...

End funding for "All Options"

CCFL member Scott Tibbs sent this letter to the Indianapolis Star in response to an attack on pro-life volunteers. The rant by the Center Director of All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center in the October 31 Indianapolis Star should be all the evidence we need for why the Bloomington City Council and the Monroe County Council need to stop forcing taxpayers to fund this organization. First of all, adding the word "care" after the word "abortion" does not make it caring. The procedure still results in a dead baby, and intentionally so. There is nothing less caring than killing a helpless innocent. Second, Shelly Dodson demonstrated no "duplicity" from abortion opponents. In fact, abortion opponents have been up front and direct about our desire to repeal ObamaCare and protect unborn babies from the abortionists that "All Options" happily pays to kill those babies. Third, the broad brush attack on anti-abortion lawmakers and protesters is both false...
